Background:

As the original Trade programme, Vauxhall Trade Club needed to modernise its branding and introduce more contemporary customer touch-points. As the creative lead for the contract, my challenge was to give the programme marketing a refreshed look, while remaining in line with Vauxhall’s overall clean, minimal brand refresh.

Outcome:

To become fully engrossed in Vauxhall’s company values, at the start of the contract I spent several weeks at the clients head office, working closely with the programme’s key decision-makers. This time was spent defining the programme’s deliverables, understanding the target market, being introduced to any related materials, outlining goals and gains, allocating budget to each marketing touch-point and agree on project deadlines.

Vauxhall’s national look and feel formed the basis of the trade programme’s visual identity. With digital now leading their B2B marketing strategy, lead by me, my creative team spent a considerable amount of time defining the UI/UX requirements. The clients target audience was particularly niche so required in-depth buyer persona research to ensure the brand was resonating with those making the buying decisions.
